Privacy First Learning: Your privacy is a priority at Xiaoying. We believe that learning should be personal and secure. Xiaoying is designed to process your requests locally whenever possible.
Camera and OCR Data
Xiaoying uses your device's camera to capture English words for recognition. All image processing and Optical Character Recognition (OCR) are performed locally on your device or via secure, private API calls that do not store your images. We do not save, share, or sell the images you capture.
No Personal Data Collection
We do not collect personal information such as your name, email address, or location. Your learning progress, practiced words, and settings are stored locally on your device and are not transmitted to our servers.
Third-Party Services
Xiaoying may use third-party services for character recognition or dictionary data. These services are selected for their privacy-respecting practices and do not receive any identifiable information about you.
